What Is “Ask for Angela”?

“Ask for Angela” is a discreet way for anyone feeling unsafe, uncomfortable, or threatened to ask for help from our staff — without needing to explain yourself in front of others.

If you’re on a date or social situation that isn’t going well, or if someone is bothering you and you need help, go to the bar and ask:
“Is Angela working?”

This is our code. Our trained team will recognise it immediately and step in to assist you.

What Happens Next?

When you ask for Angela, a staff member will:

✅ Take you somewhere private and safe
✅ Offer support and help you exit the situation
✅ Call a taxi, friend, or family member if needed
✅ Involve security or police if the situation requires

You’re Not Alone — We’ve Got You.

We know it can be difficult to speak up, especially in a public space. “Ask for Angela” gives you a quiet and safe way to protect yourself or others.

Our staff are here to support you — no questions, no judgement.
